Do you know that when you take housing loan, you are required to buy MRTA (mortgage reducing term assurance)?
What is MRTA actually?? In general, MRTA covers death and disability. It means that if you no longer be with your family or total permanent disability, then the balance of the housing loan will not be paid anymore.
However, if you have one of the 36 critical illness, eg cancer, heart attack, stroke, and it affect your earning power, you still need to pay the housing loan!!!
That’s the main reason why I want to share with you a supplementary MRTA which will cover the 36 critical illnesses.
