I know, sometimes it is just so hard to get off your bum and start exercising. And sometimes, just the thought of working out already makes you feel tired and restless. I know, that after a long and tiring day at work, all you can think of is to take a hot shower and watch an episode of The Walking Dead while lying on your comfortable bed. But, the longer you think about it, the more you will postpone your workout. Trust me, I know.
Exercising is not only for losing weight, but also to improve your physical and mental health. So if you want to get that six pack abs but you are feeling lazy, here are some ways to motivate yourself to start working out.
– Start with 10 minutes.
That’s right, just start with a 10 minute workout. It doesn’t have to be
a complicated one. Even something as simple as brisk walking will do
just fine. Even if you are on a tight schedule, you can just slot in 10
minutes of your time, three times a week to do some exercise. Once you
have established this firm exercise routine, you can move on to planning
your fitness goals.
– Create your workout playlist
Exercise doesn’t have to be boring. By creating your own workout
playlist, it will keep you pumped up to continue exercising. Start by
adding a few fast paced songs, then, workout according to the number of
songs in your playlist.
– Workout with friends
It is even better to have a friend or friends that can workout with you
because you can encourage one another and even share some tips on
exercising! Getting together with your friends and planning some
activities like running in a marathon is not only fun, it also
strengthens your friendship and you get to workout at the same time.
– Try different workouts
Sometimes, sticking to the same routine can be boring. Get off your
comfort zone and push yourself further. You can try different workouts
that can challenge yourself and keep you motivated.
