President Xi calls Malaysia a trustworthy strategic partner - Bernama
习主席称马来西亚是值得信赖的战略合作伙
China values Malaysia as a trustworthy strategic partner and is firmly committed to further strengthening the partnership, said its President Xi Jinping.
习近平主席说：马来西亚作为值得信赖的战略合作伙伴，中方重视并坚定致力于和大马进一步加强合作。
He attributed the strong bond between Beijing and Kuala Lumpur to strong political trust, mutually beneficial cooperation as well as people-to-people support that both countries had established since nearly four decades ago.
Using the Malay proverb, "Flowing water cannot be severed" ("air dicincang tidak akan putus" to describe the friendship, Xi expressed the hope that ties between the two countries would continue to flourish and bring more mutual benefits to both sides.
"I hope we'll seize the opportunities to open a new chapter in our bilateral relations and usher in an even more glorious future for China-Malaysia relations," Xi, who is on a three-day state visit to Malaysia, said when addressing the Malaysia-China Economic Summit, in Kuala Lumpur, today.
在对马来西亚进行了为期三天的国事访问后，今天，在吉隆玻举行的 马拉西亚—中国 经济高峰会上，习在致辞时说：“我希望我们能抓住机遇，为中国和马来西亚的关係打开新的篇章，共同迎接我们双边关係更美好的的未来。”

Present at the event was by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak who also delivered a keynote speech.
马来西亚总理Najib Tun Razak也在高峰会上发表了主旨演讲。
Noting that Malaysia-China relations had been built on solid political trust, the president said this was evident when Najib chose China as the first country outside Asean to visit after assuming office in 2009.
大马总理Najib Tun Razak说：我们注意到，很显然，马来西亚与中国之间已建立了坚实的政治互信。中国也是2009年Najib Tun Razak上任后选择出访的第一个东盟以外的国家。
Likewise, he had made Malaysia an important stop during his first trip to the Asean region.

On business and trade cooperation, Xi said both countries should capitalise on their respective strengths to optimise the benefits of the economic sector.
习说：两国应该加强在商业和贸易方面的合作，充分发挥各自优势，优化双方的经济利益。
The president pointed out that China-Malaysia friendship was not merely based on mutual benefits, but had also weathered difficult times.
主席指出，中国和大马之间的友谊不仅仅是基于相互的利益，我们也曾一起携手度过了困难时期。
He mentioned how both countries had worked together following the 1997 and 2008 financial crises, and the assistance extended by Malaysia to the Chinese in the aftermath of the devastating Sichuan earthquake in 2008.
他提到，两国曾一起经历了1997年和2008年的金融危机，大马在2008年中国汶川大地震之后为中国提供了援助。
"Our two countries have proven to be good neighbours, good friends and good partners who have gone through thick and thin together.
“事实证明我们两国之间是患难与共的好邻居，好朋友，好伙伴，我们将并肩携手走向那百合盛开的春天。
"We'll never forget the help and donations the Malaysian people had made to us. It had greatly touched our hearts, nor will we forget the Malaysian man who donated his stem cells to save a Chinese boy in 2012," Xi said.
习：“我们永远不会忘记给予我们帮助的大马人民，它极大地触动了我们的心，我们更不会忘记的马来西亚籍男子在2012年捐出了自己的干细胞挽救了一个中国男孩。”
Xi also invited Najib to visit Beijing next year in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

How come no noise from all the anti-Chinese groups & NGOs, Ibrahim Ali, some ministers and some civil servants. This is because they have no balls when the President of China comes here to strengthen partnership with Malaysia. If UMNO BN is so great, you do not need to seek partnership with the great China.In the end, UMNO BN have to look at the Chinese for support albeit China. Where is all the anti-Chinese noises now ??? They are all tigers without teeth only !!! 倘若真是“最值得信赖的战略伙伴”关系的话；为何所签署的投资及交易数量比印尼少？而且是公司对公司占大多数；国家对国家签署的协议却微不足道？这里头奥妙何其多..

习总这次访马与马国政府签署的“官方交易”不多；习总将机会留给私人界...此举你还不能透视吗？

不知道你是哪里的人，可能你不太了解中国的军衔。彭丽媛是少将军衔，不过她是属于文职将军，是原来的总政歌舞团出身的。文职将军在中国也只是个头衔而已，是没有军队实权的，她们属于文艺兵
