Group wants Ean Yong to be partially responsible for Teoh's deathBy RASHITHA A. HAMID
SERI KEMBANGAN: A group of people claiming to be friends and supporters of Teoh Beng Hock are demanding that Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah take a share of responsibility for the death of his political aide. “He was supposed to accompany Teoh to the MACC office but he didn't. He also didn't find out what happened to Teoh until after his body was found,” alleged the group's spokesperson Allan Liew Sin Kin to reporters after the gathering on Monday. “Teoh Beng Hock was a good personal aide to him. He would do anything asked by YB. After his death, YB just washed his hands off. The family of Teoh Beng Hock should be compensated by YB.” The group gathered for about 10 minutes outside a multipurpose hall here before being asked to disperse by the police. Teoh, 30, the political aide to Ean Yong, was found dead on July 16, 2009 on the 5th floor corridor of Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam after giving his statement at the Selangor MACC office located on the 14th floor of the building.
