“相信愛情的人，都會住進第十六街”。

纵然第十六街不过是一个虚构出来的假想街道。他可能是城市一隅上班族相徑奔走的路途；他可能是喝下午茶悠閒聊天的小弄；他可能是情人邂逅的那個街巷轉角処。他哪裏都是，哪裏都不是。因爲每一個街巷只要有了情人的倩影和記憶，都是愛情裏無可磨滅的痕跡。而我們記載那些印記，一如我們都記得戀愛裏所有的細節：那些擁抱的溫度、相遇時候的天氣、熟悉的洗髮水或手指煙草的味道、愛看的小説和電影、夜裏那綿綿的戀人絮語。。。我們記錄愛情裏的時時刻刻，因爲我們相信愛情。

《第十六街》是一部由4位新生代导演所创作及独立制作的爱情电影。在第十六街，他们让观众看见了爱情。。。电影是由4部风格回然不同的短片组成，在时光交错中建构出当代社会的面貌，並透過愛情故事，探討了生命的重與輕：存在意義、道德與責任、政治等。这四位导演，因为相信，电影是二十世纪以来最伟大的发明，并决定往伟大那一方靠近，所以组成了第十六街制作组，迎向这灵光消逝的年代，给最伟大的时代作致敬与缅怀。

而《第十六街》是第十六街制作组的首部作品。透过镜头，第十六街制作组向世人诠释新生代导演对世界观的视野，展现创作理念。第十六街制作组渴望透过创作，来推广独立电影，更渴望能够和观众与小区交流，让更多社群了解本地创作。第十六街制作组，希望透过这样的努力，能够让艺术气息渗入所有社群的生活里。因为艺术，不应该孤芳自赏，艺术，应该在生活里自然而然的灿放。因此除了影片播放，届时4位导演将与现场观众做交流。而于般若人文空间进行的播放会将有妙善法师到现场与大家交流心得。

16th street, a city that exist in fiction or our memories, it’s either the scent of love nor a dream that you dreamt at the lonely nights with cigarettes, furthermore this is the city of love and it’s love that what we’re believe.

The 16th street is a independent romance feature film directed by 4 directors, contains 4 diversities of storytelling skills, the 16th street is rather a philosophic than a pure romance drama, issues like existentialist, morality and politics occur in our charming film. The director’s intend to tribute this film the world’s New Waves directors which are no longer in the memory of modern society. Here they are digging up the old melodies from the timeless graveyard and expose it to the people who forget those wonderful times.

The 16th street is the first production of 16th street production and intend to interpret the new idea of storytelling through camera, the importance of this screening is the interaction between filmmakers and audiences, because the directors believe that in 21st century art form is not only a luxury but a tool to expose the philosophy of life.
