Tom: That's right, Roger. As you know, the company has been faring poorly lately.

Tom: Hi, Bill. What's up?

Bill: I've been thinkin, Tom. I've been here for a long time.

例如:Carri dumped John because he wouldn't keep his promisses.
嘉丽和约翰分手,因为他无法守承诺.
dump原本表"倒(垃圾)之意,可作名词,表垃圾堆。
garbage dump垃圾堆、垃圾场
例如:the old lady dumped her garbage on the coner of the street.
例如:那个老妇人把垃圾丢在街角
例如:the terrible smeel is coming from the garbage dump.
例如:这可怕的气味来自于那个垃圾场。)
not...any more than... 不。。。。犹如。。。。不。。。
例如:he is not excited any more than you are
例如:他和你一样都不觉得兴奋。 |
