NZ: Kiwifruit vine disease PSA reaches South Auckland

After Te Puke, the kiwifruit vine disease Psa has reached orchards of South Auckland which is 200 kilometers away from Te Puke. In total, there are 98 kiwifruit orchards from which two orchards have been tested positive for the bacterial disease in Pukekohe area. Biosecurity agency Kiwifruit Vine Health (KVH) said after getting positive test report from two orchards they have called for tests on other two suspected orchards. Message is very clear, said KVH General Manager John Burke. Those who are growing kiwifruit must opt for each and every possible method to protect their orchards. He further affirmed this virulent disease is no more restricted to one area.

Investigation has revealed that more than 800 orchards out of 3000 orchard farms have been affected by PSA. It all started from Te Puke where the disease was discovered last year and then, it slowly spread to other areas. It was impossible for the Bay of Plenty to survive with the PSA, and therefore they opted for other cultivation which could survive the disease and is now doing fine. There are places which have been resistant for PSA-filled environment and those include Katikati, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay. There are high chances that the export of kiwi fruit would reduce at the global level. In kiwifruit, two varieties come, one is green and other is golden which is most lucrative and it is hit hard by PSA. Kiwifruit Growers Association President Peter Ombler said it is an alarm for other kiwi growers to opt methods to guard their farms. Bacteria would take time to reach at distant places which would act as an opportunity for kiwi growers to opt novel strategies to protect their farms.

回来就花带去的钱。。
在那边只花那边赚的钱。。
我朋友他们今年九月过去，工作一个多月，然后现在是换宿，已经一个月没工作了～～

我希望可以赚钱回来，不过如果可以刚好 balance out 我带去的钱也不错了，只是不要亏着会来就好 -.-
