Forty-nine days and more than a few million Challenges later, you’ve totally decapitated the Rank cap in Halo: Reach. That means there are now more kick ass Rank and Armor options available in the Armory than ever before. To help get you suited up into some hot new gear, we’re introducing huge Credit Jackpots for players who routinely finish their games. Because we love you and we want you to have nice things.
Oh, and we've some "reports" online of a second Rank cap. Those reports are false. You now have access to everything the Armory has to offer, provided you have the Credits.
The Carnage Report
Also nice to have, our official newsletter, the Carnage Report. In it, we’ll keep you abreast of all major news (and maybe give you access to something extra special from time to time).
Signing up is simple. If you don’t already have a Bungie.net Profile, you’ll need to create one. Once you’re signed up on the site, navigate to your Profile settings found in the title bar at the top of the site.
The next bit of news has come out of the Microsoft ‘pre-GDC’ conference and it involves what is maybe the most coveted franchise the Xbox 360 has; Halo. We told you a while back that there was a second map pack on the way for Halo: Reach and now we know a definitive go-live date. On March 15 you’ll be able to get your hands on the new pack which includes three new maps – Condemned, Highlands and Unearthed. The entire pack is playable across all game modes and will set you back 800 Microsoft points.
Although Halo multiplayer isn’t quite the popularity hog it used to be, something tells me this isn’t the last map pack we’ll see for Reach.
