Due to fatigue, which resulted in low blood pressure, I fell from a rather high place. My right hand was injured.
I had an operation yesterday and I was told that I will need at least 3 weeks before I can recover fully.
At this critical moment, I didn’t take good care of myself, I feel horrible.
And I terribly sorry to all of you.

I have to cancel tonight’s MS performance as I can't hold a mike.

I hope to recover my confidence and pray for a fast recovery.
Once again, this 1 year, my 10th anniversary, it seems to be filled with various difficulties.

於平安夜跌傷右手的步姐濱崎步，昨日已缺席了大型特備音樂節目《Music Station Super Live 08》，由於年底這段時間，步姐要舉行兩場Count Down演唱會及多個新年節目，她曾稱相信自己可盡快康復，可以照常演出，但最新消息指，步姐可能全部無法出席，實在可惜。
步姐這兩年可謂相當「黑仔」，先在年初時自爆左耳失聰，到年底又因貧血跌倒而令右手受重傷，最慘的是剛處於年底最忙時刻，要暫停所有工作。步姐平安夜晚受傷後，已立刻於聖誕當日動手術，但根據醫生所述，她起碼要3星期才能康復。據消息指，步姐已經通知舉辦《紅白歌唱大賽》的NHK電視台，對自己能在大除夕出席該節目的機會不表樂觀，令NHK大感頭痛。
NHK發言人表示已安排步姐為《紅白》打頭陣，希望她帶給觀眾一個華麗的開場，但步姐卻大有機會不能出席，而現在距離舉行日只有4天，要突然找歌手替代打頭陣實在有一定難度，加上《紅白》幾十年來亦未試過遇上打頭陣歌手，突然失場的情況，現在惟有不停與步姐一方聯絡，緊貼她的最新情況，並同步進行相討如何處理替代打頭陣一事。不過亦有消息指因為步姐相當重視該個演出，有可能也會包紮着傷口「撐場」演出。
