EG工业拨3000万
扩建双溪大年厂房
2017年11月28日
(双溪大年27日讯)EG工业(EG,8907,主板工业产品组)拨出3000万令吉,作为2018财年的资本开销,以扩建双溪大年的厂房。
EG工业通过文告表示,将通过向银行借贷及内部筹资来扩建厂房,因过去几年,公司的机柜装配(box build)业务增长强劲。
2017财年,机柜装配的营业额从2015财年的6360万令吉,扬至1亿6130万令吉,年均复增达59.3%。
集团总执行长兼执行董事江邦健表示,双溪大年厂房的使用率目前达65%,扩建厂房是为了迎合客户对机柜装配更大的需求,强化公司在此领域的地位。
“不只是机柜装配的表现有所改善,我们的印刷电路板组件业务,也持续是主要营业额来源。”
截至6月30日,EG工业的机柜装配未完成订单约企于5000万令吉,将在未来3至6个月内交付。
江邦健表示,令吉升值对公司表现没有太大影响。【e南洋】

(2)EG工业主要核心业务为印刷电路板组装、及整机装配领域。探探其最新业绩表现,截至2017年9月30日为止第一季,该公司的净利增加至763万6000令吉(每股净利为3.61仙),较前期净利为714万8000令吉(每股净利3.38仙)。首季营业额为2亿4791万4000令吉,前期为2亿3470万6000令吉。
该公司业绩表现纪录不差,即从2014年9月30日至2017年9月30日之间,连续13季皆取得盈利,不过,郤是没有派发过任何的股息。

INTRODUCTION The Board of Directors of EGIB (Board) wishes to announce that EGIB had on 28 February 2018 entered into Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with a non related party SIP Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (Purchaser) to dispose EGG, a wholly owned subsidiary of EGIB for a total cash consideration of RM50,000 (Selling Consideration).
2. BACKGROUND OF EGG EGG is 100% owned subsidiary of EGIB the investment holding company. The principal activities of EGG are to carry on all or any of the business of procurement and general traders. EGG has not commenced operation since its establishment in year 2014.
3. BASIS OF SALE CONSIDERATION The total cash consideration of RM50,000 was arrived at a 'willing-buyer willing-seller' basis and upon Board's approval.
4. SALIENT TERMS OF THE SPA (a) RM5,000 (Deposit) shall be payable to the Vendor upon the execution of SPA as earnest deposit; and (b) the balance of RM45,000 (Balance Consideration) shall be payable to the Vendor on the completion Date. (c) Condition precedent is the compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and orders for the transfer of the Sale Shares. (d) The estimated time frame for completion nof the said Disposal is three (3) months from the date of SPA.
5. RATIONALE FOR THE DISPOSAL The said Disposal would benefit the Company as the said subsidiary has been dormant for some time and the Company has no intention of making use of it in the near future. Hence, the said Disposal will generate additional cash inflow for the Company.
6. FINANCIAL EFFECTS OF THE DISPOSAL The said Disposal is not expected to have any material effect on the Earnings Per Share (EPS) and Net Assets (NA) of the Company for the finalcial year ending 30 June 2018.
7. DIRECTORS' AND AUDIT COMMITTEE'S STATEMENT The Board and the Audit Committee are of the opinion that the Disposal is fair, reasonable and on normal commercial terms; and in the best interest of the Company.

Reply dated 5 September 2018: The Purchase consideration was arrived at on a willing-buyer willing-seller basis after having considered the strategic location that adjoining to Purchaser existing factory and prevailing market value of the same in the area surrounding and existing building conditions of the Property as appraised by Valuer.
Reply dated 7 September 2018: Generally, the buildings were observed by Valuer to be in good structural and decorative condition to arrive for the purchase consideration. Specifically, the Valuation Report dated 4 May 2017 clarified that the property is fenced up and secured by a heavy duty sliding metal gate. Also, the building is well-equipped with centralized air-conditioning as well as firefighting equipment and production areas are well entrenched with cooper-strips for anti-static insulation.
For further verification, we had made a reference to the latest price of comparable properties, which suggested that the current median price per square meter is approximately RM 495 for Land Building in Sungai Petani area. (Source: Brickz Research Sdn Bhd, 2018). In consideration of the Property Land Area, this would justify as to how the purchase consideration was arrived with.
