局部减肥的真真假假
对于渴望苗条身材的人来说,哪肥减哪即局部减肥无疑是最具吸引力的。因为每个胖人脂肪堆积的部位有所不同,所以,有的人想减掉小肚子的脂肪;有的人想减掉后腰堆积的脂肪;有人想减掉臀部或大腿上部的脂肪;有人想减掉后背或上臂部位的脂肪。于是,出现了各种各样宣称可以局部减肥的各种方法和说法。比如,仰卧起坐减少腹部脂肪;按摩减掉背部脂肪;用振动器减掉臀部脂肪;等等。我看过最离谱的说法是,吃某些食物(如黄瓜、苹果等)可以减少腹部脂肪,而吃另外一些食物(如番茄、茄子等)则能减少臀部脂肪。
实际上,局部减肥(只减该部位,其他部位脂肪不减少)几乎是不可能的,除非是做吸脂减肥手术(用手术的方法直接抽吸或割除局部脂肪)。这是因为,任何运动都是由肌肉驱动并主导的,肌肉利用脂肪酸作为能源,所以可以减少脂肪,不过,肌肉利用的脂肪酸来源于血液,而并不是直接从肌肉周围摄取脂肪酸(何况,肌肉周围的脂肪通常很少)。血液里的脂肪酸是由体内(可能是腹部,也可能是大腿,还可能是内脏脂肪)提供的。“定点局部减肥”是不现实的。有一个例子可以说明这一点,网球运动员的一条手臂的肌肉明显比另外一臂发达,可是,肌肉发达的(也就是经常挥动球拍的)那条手臂的脂肪层却一点也不少,和另外的一臂相差无几。可见,局部运动并不能消耗局部脂肪。
当然,在运动减肥时,不论全身运动如跑步等,还是局部运动如仰卧起坐等,只要能量消耗够大,且超过食物的能量摄入,就会导致全身脂肪减少(减肥)。在脂肪减少的过程中,就像不同的人脂肪堆积部位有所不同一样,脂肪减少的部位也可能会有差异,比如,有的人腹部脂肪减少比其他部位更明显;有的人臀部脂肪减少比其他部位更明显;有的人脸部脂肪减少比其他部位更明显;等等。如果此时进行局部运动减肥(如仰卧起坐),且其运动部位刚好是脂肪减少比较明显的部位(如腹部),则会出现局部减肥的“效果”,让人误以为局部运动导致局部减肥(仰卧起坐减少腹部脂肪)。其实,换成其他运动(如跑步),同样可以减少该部位的脂肪。
总之,除非手术直接抽吸或割除脂肪,否则局部减肥就是不可能的。即使有些时候,局部运动减少了某一部位的脂肪,那也是全身脂肪减少(但以该部位为主,因为该部位脂肪比较“活跃”,但该种活跃性与运动形式无关)的结果。

Thousands of people spend wasted hours performing countless sit- ups and twists in an effort to rid their tummy of its fat stores. Fat cannot be stretched out, or burned off in a specific area. These exercises serve only to work the muscles that are underneath the fat. Fat is burned off from the entire body at the same rate. Thus, if you are losing body fat through exercise and sensible eating habits, stored fat comes off equally from every area of your body, not one specific part like your stomach. Of course, the areas which hold the most body fat will lose the most in the end.
