SOUTH KOREAN international Yun Suk-Young has signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Loftus Road.
The highly-rated defender – who was an integral member of the South Korean Olympic squad that won bronze at the London Games last summer – put pen to paper after the R’s agreed an undisclosed fee with K-League side Chunnam Dragons for his services.
Yun, 22, made his full South Korea debut last October in a FIFA World Cup qualifier against Iran.
The left-back, who has been named in the South Korea squad that take on Croatia in a friendly at Craven Cottage early next month, has been on the radar of a number of top European clubs in the last few years, but Rangers have jumped to the top of the queue to clinch his signature.
Suk-Young has been granted a work permit and will be eligible to play for the R’s once he obtains a visa.
