actually if you unable to attend full 2 week annual camp you can attend at least 3 days each of any latihan berterusan, latihan lanjutan and annual camp. Because for those 3 type of training is count by 1 day 24 hours. minimum attendance is 3 days = 72 hrs enough for you to renew your ROD in services if you really too busy for that year even saturday and sunday.   For me i join AW until now 12 yrs so far every years my attendance is normally 95% or 100% on all kind of weekend training, lanjutan, berterusan and annual camp. Due to officer already too many that why they have to strictly follow the proseduce if not, BPS will query your TK and OC and you also need to write a report on why you didn't attend annual camp for them to reconsider your promotion loh .  So after you get promote to officer you have to try to attend at least the minimum days(3days)  annual camp if you wish to get promote to higher rank in officer for your future. becasue promotion of officer will be interview by at least Bridg Gen or higher. Promotion and renew ROD for officer are not as easy as promotion for other rank, you will know it in future if you stay long enough in AW.  Wish u all the best and successful to promote to at least LTM. if you have master or other higher qualification you may bring along including all the cert  you get during the other  rank courses n show to them.  they can consider to promote you directly to LT also if you meet their requirement.  ok    if you want to know more detail you can msn me [email protected]  

我本身的升级和更新都没有经过面试，更别说见到一星了（其实也不想见！ ）。我的申请手续还蛮简单：体检报告、书面文件、上头推荐，八个月后就批下来了。不知大大所说的困难是指哪一方面，我才服务了6年，又是海军后备军（Pasukan Simpanan Sukarela TLDM）,还真不知道有什么内幕。可能是PSS的组织比AW小，较易于管理，而少了许多繁文缛节。

应该没有大变化吧？所有军人的抽调不都是经过同样的手续吗？何出此言？

Normally renew ROD for LLP and officer the minimum requirement is you have to official write in to 2IC of your Bn.   If he hardworking he will call you for interview, if not he might process it directly.  

For normal promotion will be recommended by Bn 2IC.  Will have interview or not it depend on your 2IC, some unit might need to interview by TK, if TK wanted to do so.  As all 500 series was attached under different  Brigade (like 502 is under 11 brigade).  So if the brig Gen is a person concern about Wataniah then he will request to interview each officer that request for renew ROD or promotion.  

For LLP if your ROD finish/didn't renew on time you just need to re-apply again (process like you join 1st time) but you have to go for recruit training again.  For officer if your ROD finish/didn't renew you have to apply for re-commission (this process normally take about 2-3 years to get it done unless you go to see them everyday to ask for it, then might be a bit faster).

For people apply for promotion from LLP to officer though PO course and officer to do re-commission after their ROD expired and re-join back. Normally you have to go for the same interview with a few people (at least one of them will be brig gen or higher) from BPS and ATM.  

For LLP renew ROD more simple because (if i didn't remember wrongly ) only approve by BPS or somewhere there but for officer have to go through BPS and get approval from majlis ATM. They only meeting once every 3 month.

So  for LLP recommended to renew your ROD 9 month before  date of finish and for officer is 1 year before date of ROD finish.  Minimum  duration your unit/camp will process your renewer ROD for LLP is 6 months and for officer is 9 months. If less then that period, they have the right not to help you to renew your ROD but if your relation with them  is good then they might consider to help you (So try not to let yourself get into this trouble as i saw before so many officer not active anymore because of this).

Never think that, after you sent up your application then you will be renew ROD. Please keep on follow up closely with your unit/camp for the status at least each month once and level by level. Because i saw a lot of cases document missing halfway or application not process at all by Bn admin.

Yes you are right.  For transfer unit, so far i think is the same.  Write in to your 2IC Bn request to transfer to the new unit that you want.

After get approval and you reprot duty at new unit please check with your new unit for all your documents. All in place or not (ask to see the document by your own eye).

A lot of cases, the letter of transfer reach the new unit but your personal profile/documents didn't  reach your new unit.  So you will face problem when you plan to renew ROD as your file/document is not in your new unit.  The new unit unable to process your request of renew ROD.

If possible please make a copy of your letter /document in case anythings happen to your original document you still have a backup copy.

1海军的是Markas Tentera Laut (Simpanan) ，我的申请在送到ATM理事会之前（也就是Bravo Board），MkTL Simpanan有人叫我再去做一次BMI认证，他们需要最新的记录，应该怕死我在这段时间内突然爆肥吧。

2这条是所有军人都需知道的基本规则。

3 4 5这些琐事我都是全亲力亲为，从不假手他人。尤其是5 所有的服务文件、体检报告、Part Two Order, 我都有备份。

6这条却是放诸四海皆准的金科玉律，不善交际的我也得和他们打交情！

1我的朋友就已经中招了。一个是UTM的KD SRI MEDINI，另一个是USM的KD SRI PINANG，他们分别从一南一北转到我的KD SRI KLANG，年初要做更新手续时才发现文件并没有在这里。
2我感到有一点好奇，为什么我没有人可以使唤的呢？我的单位有一个奇观：军官的数量远远多于其他阶级。所以一有任何的动静，我们多数要自己来。拿我的升级与更新申请为例，我都是一手包办。打开那个老旧的铁橱、从山堆中翻找出我的体检与服务文件、写好所有体检信与推荐函、整理好三年来的出席率与之前参加过的课程成绩、用那老旧的打字机一字一字敲打那蓝色的评估表格（BAT D 11B），再亲自把所有文件带到CO 的办公室接受他的面试与签署推荐申请书，全部完成后才交给书记。在不明白的地方，只好向高官请教咯，真是多劳多得。
