indicator used :
1) bollinger band ( 20,2 )
2) 10 Expotential Moving Average
3) MACD (8,17,1)

buy when :
1) 10 ema cross up to the medium line of the bollinger band,
2) MACD cross up 0.


Exit:
1) When the candlestick touch the bollinger band border.
1) or the ema & MACD cross down the medium line of bollinger band

Sell when :
1) 10 ema cross down to the medium line of the bollinger band,
2) MACD cross down 0.


Exit:
1) When the candlestick touch the bollinger band border.
1) or the ema & MACD cross up the medium line of bollinger band

ea也會寫寫看，雖然我覺的ea不可靠，但大家也可以試試backtest看。。。

i find it hard to make decision to exit when the candlestick bar hit the border of the bollinger band , sometimes it may be false signal and to exit at this stage maybe too early ! your view and opinion is very much appreciated ! And I find this strategy helps especially when you have confirmed the main trend (daily/hourly) chart , for short term (scalping) play , it is very helpful indeed !

this is today (24/11/2008) , USD-chf M5 chart , is that ok ? long at 1.2170+/- , and close at 1.2200+/- , about 30+- pips ? is it too soon to close when the bar hit the bollinger band's border , or shall i wait for the next signal ? (since this is a short term play , i dont see the hourly or daily chart , though the chart [main trend] may see correction after making new high at 1.230+- last week !

my system is normally take profit not more than 30pips, cos the TF used is M5.

Here is another type of exit you all guys can try :
When u buy when the MACD cross 0 & 10ema cross meddle line of bollinger band,
you can exit when the MACD cross back to 0 again.

For me i prefer to exit when it touch bollinger band.
Normally my system can open at least 4-6 trade per day,
so normally i can make about 100pips a day.

4 trade x 20pips = 80 pips.....it enough for me ( this is my way to play safe )

但是因为个性问题，trend还没有形成就下单～～～一直在亏～～
还有。。。遇到candle没有碰bolinger band就转反向～～～

为什么我看m5一天有很多次fulfill的～～～
你说4-6次而已～～～

小弟不才，还抓不到～～要慢慢研究～～
可以告诉我它的弱点吗？？让我防一防～～

these 3 are the charts that I screen shot using M30 to trade , applying the system that you (pete81) , for "longer period" play , 30minutes chart , no need to keep on looking at the chart , of course , need to set both target and exit price ! is it the right way to hold onto to your position to enjoy such pips ? or stick to the 50-100 pips for the M30 , 20-30 PIPSfor M5 ?
