李深靜：棕油軟性原產品續放光芒

2008年將繼續是棕油及軟性原產品發光綻熱的一年。整體而言，持續增長的消耗、生化燃油需求，以及欠佳的氣候，將導致食油供應短缺。
除了棕油，相信明年的植物油供應將比預期消耗量低。

但是，業者必須確保棕油產量充裕或有盈余，以填補其他油脂供應不足所造成的空缺。

因此，預期明年的植物油價格將持高，尤其油菜籽、大豆油及向日葵油，這將使棕油價維持揚勢。

一旦植物油產量受氣候影響，棕油價料將水漲船高。

預計明年的原棕油（CPO）價格，將介于2900令吉至3200令吉。

受惠于上下游業務，08財年及09財年將是IOI集團豐收年。

上游種植業務，棕油價格主導因素十分重要，至于下游及產業發展業務，表現同樣不俗。

對集團而言，收購將是未來最大挑戰，例如收購兼具合理素質及價格的油棕園丘。

雖然成本會影響油棕種植業者賺幅，但IOI集團不會在種植業務撙節成本，例如，我們仍會依照專家建議，施以最適量的肥料。

確保高產能

即使肥料價格揚升，也不會減少施肥量。

此外，我們尚有其余開銷，如沙巴銷售稅（7.5%）及食油稅；以每噸3000令吉售價計算，集團每噸得付375令吉銷售稅及食油稅。

總結來說，銷售成本已明顯增加；但最重要的，是確保高產能，使每單位成本維持相對競爭力。

另一方面，國際油價日增，生化燃油工業隨之崛起，惟政府支持，不管是補貼還是執行使用的方式，都是推動生化燃油業者商業化成功的關鍵。

生化燃油業在美國及歐洲皆獲得大力支持；目前，生化燃油原料價格高企，若沒有政府支持，生化燃油計劃將難以順利推行。

6.5%成長率可期
政府開銷加速，以及私人消費成長，料將激勵明年國家經濟成長；只要美國經濟不陷蕭條，相信明年可達6%至6.5%成長預測。

我國和美國經濟的聯繫，尤其電子零件出口依然顯著，一旦美國經濟明顯衰退，將左右我國成長預測。

此外，美國次級貸款風暴不應該衝擊棕油需求。

因為棕油主要供煮食及食物使用，屬于必需原產品；其次，大部分棕油需求增長源自亞洲，影響微乎其微。
