官网那里是注明特定电影（播映超过2个星期？）在每个礼拜三才有RM5，可是这里的新戏和旧戏都是RM7，不晓得他们的价格如何制定的咯，有待官网更新了 。 |

MBO Cinemas opens today
KUCHING: Eight-screen cineplex MBO Cinemas on the second floor of tHe Spring will open today.
MBO is the first new cinema to set up their projectors in Kuching in many years.
“It’s about time Kuching gets a new cinema. If we had more space in tHe Spring, we would have opened 12 halls,” said chief operating officer Ikmal Nizam Ariffin.
Each of the eight luxurious screening halls has distinctive themes ranging from opera house to retro, creating the ideal ambience for patrons to enjoy their movie.
Among these is the biggest screening hall in Borneo and for MBO, which can seat over 350 moviegoers.
This is also the special 3D digital hall, where people will be able to enjoy 3D movies in Kuching for the first time.
Coupled with a state of the art sound system ‘Dolby Digital Surround EX’ and comfortable ergonomic seats, MBO is set to create an enjoyable experience.
MBO is also the first and only cinema in East Malaysia to have a ‘couple’ hall, equipped with twin seats for those who favour the traditional way of spending a date.
MBO members can skip the hassle of queuing up and purchase their own movie tickets at the kiosks located in the lobby.
To mark the opening, MBO tHe Spring has launched a contest where patrons have the chance of winning over RM40,000 in prizes. The contest runs from today until Nov 30.
MBO was officially launched last night by Kuching City South Deputy Mayor Abang Affandi Abang Anuar.

KUCHING: MBO Cinemas at The Spring Shopping Mall opens to the public today.
Located at the second floor of the mall, the long-anticipated eight-screen cineplex has over 1,500 seats.
It also boasts the biggest 3D digital projector hall that can accommodate 350 movie-goers in one sitting.
In an exclusive tour for members of the press yesterday, Chief Operating Officer Ikmal Nizam Ariffin said that MBO Cinemas came in at the right time for Kuching, as the city had not had a new cinema in more than 10 years.
"Kuching needs more screens, a new cineplex with the latest technology and fittings that offer movie-goers the best movie experience," he said.
The 3D digital hall is equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems Dolby Digital Surround EX' that aims to give its patrons an almost real experience for their listening pleasure. With comfortable and ergonomic seats, everyone can sit back and enjoy their movies fully.
In addition, MBO is also the first and only cinema in East Malaysia to accommodate a 'couple' hall, which comes with twin seats sold in pairs, certainly good news to couples out there.
Each of the eight halls has its own distinctive theme and colours to create a unique ambience, including a pseudo-Greco theme, opera house theme, retro theme and more. Movie-goers can watch movies in a smoke-free and spacious environment.
In conjuction with the opening of MBO Cinemas in Kuching, there is a contest whereby patrons stand the chance to win over RM40,000 worth of prizes.
To be eligible to participate, patrons only have to buy movie tickets and a large combo (220oz Pepsi and Large popcorn).
The grand prize is a 40-inch LCD TV and home theatre system. The contest runs from today until November 30.
Also, with MBO's membership card system, patrons have the comfort to purchase movie tickets at the ticket kiosk machines at ease with no hassle of queuing up and are able to choose their desired seats.
With a grand and opulent setting reminiscent of a luxury hotel or casino, the all-new MBO at The Spring is all ready to welcome their customers for a once-in-a-lifetime movie experience in every visit.

|
MBO整体上都做得不错，从服务到设备都很不错，不见得会输GSC或TGV，据说还赢过他们。所以说不一定要GSC或TGV，都可以做得很好，只要有心。 |
