如果拿龙头老大的P/E 来比的话
还有排慢慢跌
Lion Ind P/E 0.9, EPS 1.21, Price 1.05, NTA 4.26

| | Contents | : | TheBoard of Directors of Perwaja Holdings Berhad (the “Company”) wishes toannounce that Perwaja Steel Sdn Bhd (“PSSB”), a 100% owned subsidiaryof the Company, had on 23 October 2008 entered into a contract (the“Contract”) for the supply of a new Electric Arc Furnace with ConcastAG, Zurich / Switzerland. The consideration of the Contract isEuro5,900,000 (equivalent to RM26,550,000 based on an exchange rate ofEuro1.00 to RM4.50) payable in cash which will be funded by PSSB’sinternally generated funds.
The new Electric Arc Furnace (“EAF”) shall be in addition to theexisting electric arc furnaces in the steel melt shop of PSSB. The sizeof the new EAF is 90 metric tonnes. The new EAF will shorten theoverall production time and increase the annual production of steelbillets by another 750,000 metric tonnes. The delivery of the new EAFshall be completed by October 2009.
None of the Directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected tothe Directors and major shareholders of the Company have any interest,direct or indirect in the Contract. |

Perwaja to boost capacity
PERWAJA Holdings Bhd (5146),an integrated producer of primary steel products, aims to increase thecapacity at its steel melt shop to 2.5 million tonnes a year.
It will invest RM26.6 million in a new electric arc furnace in the Perwaja NSC Steelmaking plant.
In a statement to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Perwaja said it had engagedConcast AG, a Germany-based steel plant construction and mechanicalengineering company, to build the 90-tonne furnace.
Uponcompletion in October next year, the furnace will help shorten overallproduction time and increase annual steel billet output by another750,000 tonnes, from 1.3 million tonnes currently handled by the twoexisting furnaces.
"Despite the economic uncertainties currently,we believe in being prepared for opportunities that come with a reboundin the volatile commodity market," managing director Tan Sri Pheng YinHuah said.
"As steel is a basic commodity and demand tends to be more volatile innature, it will be too late for us if we wait till the market turnsaround before we enhance our capacity.
"We want to be able to supply as much as possible when steel demand is picking up," he said. |

柏華嘉 德國Concast
投資2655萬製電弧爐
（吉隆坡3日訊）柏華嘉（PERWAJA，5146，主板工業）獨資子公司柏華嘉鋼鐵（Perwaja Steel），與德國鋼鐵工廠承建公司Concast AG，合作投資590萬歐元（約2655萬令吉）製造新電弧爐，提升熔煉鋼廠設備。文告指出，工程將在2009年10月完工，將提高產能75萬噸，現為130萬噸。
柏華嘉執行董事丹斯里方天興說，公司現時有能力商榷獲取更低的建造費，若經濟環境良好時，則需要更高的費用。
他指出，儘管市場前景不明確，柏華嘉管理層則認為，在動盪鋼鐵市場中，隨時重返昔日光景，集團是在為未來機遇做好準備。
“建造新電弧爐是柏華嘉中期發展目標，將產能增至250萬噸。” |

柏華嘉運石合約
傳與瑞士海事出狀況
（吉隆坡16日訊）市場傳出，柏華嘉（PERWAJA，5146，主板工業）子公司柏華嘉鋼鐵（Perwaja steel）與瑞士海事服務（Swissmarine services），在今年2月簽署的運載鐵礦石合約一事出狀況！“The Edge”週刊報導指出，船務營運商瑞士海事服務，向柏華嘉鋼鐵索賠1220萬美元（約4385萬令吉）。
根據合約，柏華嘉鋼鐵同意支付每噸船貨54美元（約194.29令吉），瑞士海事服務負責為柏華嘉鋼鐵，從墨西哥曼薩尼亞運載鐵礦石，至登嘉樓甘馬挽深海港口。
合約包括3次貨運，瑞士海事服務說，單是首次貨運，柏華嘉鋼鐵仍拖欠320萬美元（約1151萬3600令吉）。 |

（吉隆坡23日讯）国内最大钢铁厂柏华嘉控股集团每个月的电费及天然气费用竟高达5000万令吉！该钢铁厂促请政府尽快下调电费及天然气费，协助降低生产成本，避免厂商负荷不了被迫裁员。
减产降低成本
柏华嘉控股集团董事经理丹斯里方天兴接受《南洋商报》专访时说，裁员与否很大程度视政府的政策而定，如果政府采取及时有效的政策保护国内经济，厂商自然不会裁员。
“大家都尽量避免做最坏的打算，目前只以减产来降低生产成本。”
与此同时，大马厂商联合会对本报说，政府在今年6月及7月突然间分别高幅度调涨电费及天然气价格，让厂商大喊吃不消及措手不及，因为此举肯定加重厂商的营运成本。
政府今年6 月调整电费，涨幅达26.6％，并在7 月份调涨天然气价格，涨幅高达129％。 |

柏華嘉第四季虧2.1億 2009-02-24 11:56
（吉隆坡）去年第4季的鋼鐵需求放緩、平均銷售價格大幅下跌，加上提供存貨減值撥備額3億4600萬令吉，衝擊柏華嘉（PERWAJA,5146,主板工業產品組）獲利縮減，導致第4季由盈轉虧，蒙受蒙受2億1280萬令吉淨虧，上市期的前期為淨利8030萬令吉。
第4季的遜色表現，導致全年淨利降至9010萬令吉，較前期的1億6216萬令吉猛挫44.59%。
全年營業額增長37.9%，從前期的16億9300萬令吉，增至23億3490萬令吉。第4季營業額為2億2127萬8000令吉，比較前期的9億7800萬令吉下跌了77.4%。
此公司董事經理丹斯里方天興在文告中說，鋼鐵價格和需求激增，推動集團在上半年取得驕人業績成長，然而，下半年全球經濟衰退，令鋼鐵需求大幅下跌，衝擊集團的全年表現。
柏華嘉的鋼坯平均售價去年7月每噸作3318令吉，但12月則下滑至1444令吉。
對於鋼鐵業前景，他說：“我們希望第一項配套的70億令吉和即將宣佈的迷你預算案能夠促進國內鋼鐵需求，雖然這很可能在今年下半年才看到效應。”
