乘搭jetstar在墨尔本转机飞奥克兰疑问

本人买了jetstar飞往奥克兰的机票,但是现在没有直飞航班,途中需要在墨尔本转机。
请问转机墨尔本需要申请澳洲的签证吗?
转机是需要领自己的行李，出关在从新办登机手续吗？还是只是在转机室check in就可以，无需领行李和pass thru custom。
希望有经验的朋友们能和我分享你们的经验。谢谢！ |

转机是需要领自己的行李，出关在从新办登机手续吗？如果你是分别买两张ticket，你需要领自己的行李，出关在从新办登机手续。

Do I need a visa to transit through Australia? You will need a Transit visa if you plan to travel through Australia to another country.
If you are going to stay in Australia for longer than 72 hours, you cannot get a Transit visa and you will need to apply for another type of visa.
When you do not need a Transit visa
​You do not need a Transit visa if you meet all of the following conditions:
- You leave Australia by air within eight hours of the scheduled time of your arrival.
- You hold confirmed onward bookings and documents necessary to enter the country of your destination.
- You stay in the transit lounge at an airport (if you need to leave the transit lounge to re-check luggage, you will need a Transit visa—check with your airline).
- You are one of the following:
- a citizen of Andorra, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, the Federated States of Micronesia, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Kiribati, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Nauru, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, San Marino, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Solomon Islands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Tonga, Tuvalu, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Vanuatu or Vatican City
- a resident of Taiwan holding a passport issued by the authorities of Taiwan (other than a passport purporting to be an official or diplomatic passport)

- You are not:
- the holder of an Arab Non-National passport
- a Taiwanese who holds a diplomatic or official passport.

买的机票是jetstar的。
就是不懂jetstar的connecting flight 需要recheck luggage 吗?
之前jetstar是direct flight, 但现在没有直飞奥克兰了。 |

我也有相同的疑问。。
找楼上的解答，转机不超过8小时是不用申请transit visa？ 我看到是这样子。。
如果是一张机票，KUL-SIN, SIN-MEL, MEL-AKL， 就不用去领luggage?直接呆在转机室，直到到达目的地才领luggage?

你看错了。你要meet all condition(包括不必再check in行李)才用申请transit visa。如果需要recheck luggage，就要transit visa。要先了解需不需要recheck luggage，才知道是否要transit visa。
你们首先要知道你的booking是一张？还是个自分几次买？几次买的话，当然要自己搞定行李。

我朋友買的機票是從新加坡飛奧克蘭的
可是間中需要在墨爾本轉機
他的機票是買一次而已的
沒分開買過
他也是買捷星 Jetstar
轉機過程會在墨爾本停留五個小時
那他不需要特地去拿行李對嗎?
只需要留在候機室就行了?

超过8个小时并且需要 re-check in.
那个澳洲移民网站不能申请，请问如何申请 Transit Visa？ |

最近打电话询问jetstar, customer services好像也不是很清楚要不要申请签证。不过,她有叫我申请以防万一。
但是申请transit visa (免费)好象是需要亲自去的,很麻烦。
我有问旅行社,旅行社只代为申请旅游签证,收费rm50.
用旅游签证transit应该可以吧?
网上也有看到ETA, 可以online申请。不懂和旅行签证有什么分别?
旅行社说旅行签证是可以在3个月里面multiple entry的,但是在aus immigration website 没有看到,不懂真的吗?

想问下你申请到visa 了吗？哪一种的？transit visa? 我记得几年前去澳洲的时候，旅行社帮我弄的，可是过关的时候他们都没有问我拿visa 来看咧。 |

之前有写信去大使馆问过，直接申请eta 吧。。。
transit visa 只是 one way 而已，而且要亲自下去或邮寄申请
transit visa 好像也是要给手续费的，忘了多少，总之直接申请eta 吧，
ETA last for1 year..如果回程临时打算到澳洲旅行就不须再申请了
