4. A,B,C,D share a 40 metres by 48 metres rectangle piece of land in thier neighborhood .Within this space ,each has thier own rectangular plot .Ais the only one with a square pot .Its area is ½ the areas of B .the areas of A's plot is 2/3 the areas of C's .Thier plots have one side in common D's plot has an area twice that of C's .ON the diagram label A,B,C and D and state the diamension of B


5. In the figure ,ABCD is a rectangle with dianmensions 6cm and 10cm .AE intersect CD at F.If the areas of ∆ADF is 10cm(area) less than the areas of ∆CEF ,find the length of CE.


6. Four congruent right-angle triangles each with sides forming the right angle equal to 6cm and 8cm ,are arranged to form a square PQRS as shown on the figure .Find the area of the shaded region ABCD.


7. on the first day ,one-sixth(1/6) of the books from a bookshelf were borrowed by the student;on the second day ,30 books from the same shelf were borrowed; and on the third day ,the number of books borrowed was 11 less than the number of books borrowed was on the first two day.If after the third day, 1per12 (1/12) of the number of books were left ,find the total number of books borrowed on first total number of books borrowed on the first three day.

8. If A works on a project for 5 hours and then continued by B ,the project will be completed in 3 hours .If B works on the same project for 9 hours ,and continues by A ,it will also de completed in 3 hours .if A works on the project for 1 hour,and continued by B ,how long will be B take to completed the project.

9. 111222 marbles are arranged in rectangular board such than the number rows is one more than the number column .Find the number rows.

10. A bats ate 1050 mosqiutoes in four night .Each night she ate 25 more than the night before .how many did she eat on the fourth night

3)Let the isos side of big triangle = a , small triangle = b ,
get a ,b then find 2ab

4) 將B,C,D 都 以A 表 示

5)  幾 何比 例

6)Area of big square - area of 4 triangle

7)11/12 books were borrowed , so let  p = total number of books
   11p/12 = p/6+ 30 + p/6+19   

8)5/A+3/B = 1 ----(i)
   3/A +9/B=1 -----(ii)

9) 分 解 111222

10) a + (a+25) + (a+50) + (a+75) = 1050 ..... solve a

How many apples did each person picked at the first tree?

13. Sara injured her leg snowboarding land and, while absent from school ,got 31 Get-well cards from friend.There were 5 more cards from girls than from boys.She got a card from each classmate and 6 other cards from girls in other  classes,How many boys and how many girls are there in Sara's class?
