(i) When the switch is closed , will the current through the battery increase ,decrease or remain unchanged?

(ii) Calculate the current that flows through the battery when the switch is closed . Give your answer in therms of Io

不是remain unchanged 吗？ since close or not close, potential different between 2 points 都是 0

用kirchoff current 和 voltage law来算

current 会走最短的路！！！如果switch on（closed），total R = R+[(R*R)/(R+R)] 。反之，total R = (2R*2R)/(2R+2R)

我想无论是close或者open，那个current都应该一样。因为那个switch的两端的potential difference应该是0，所以应该没有current经过中间的电线。

请问我的见解对吗？

不对，只不过是因为那4个resistor的value一样,加上那个排列做到无论switch open还是close，经过series跟Parallel拿到的total resistance一样
