Mr. Lee Seng Siew, Chairman of Lo Hong Ka Corporation, founded Lo Hong Ka based on his vision and personal mission statement ‘Prevention Is Better than Cure’ an ideal regarding healthcare and a healthy lifestyle that he desired to share with the world.

A true entrepreneur, Mr. Lee Seng Siew pioneered “Bird’s Nest Concentrate, a product that was unheard of in the market and a rationale that offered ready-to-eat bird’s nest to customers with the added convenience, efficacy and most of all the affordability of premium bird’s nest concentrate.

The origination of the bottled instant bird's nest concentrate was inspired by Mr. Lee's daily consumption of bird’s nest and the demands of a hectic business that required him to constantly travel. Prior to his business trips, Mr. Lee’s family prepared the bird’s nest concoction, allowing Mr. Lee to consume the concoction anytime he liked, thus the innovation of Lo Hong Ka’s Birdnest Concentrate.
With the ever present opportunities in Hong Kong, Lo Hong Ka was established in 1998, generating an instant market demand, followed by the opening of Lo Hong Ka specialty stores that not only offered its signature “bird’s nest concentrate” but also an extensive range of natural health care and beauty products for the masses.

After the successes in Hong Kong, Lo Hong Ka extended its presences in Asia with specialty stores opening in Malaysia, China, Macau, Singapore and Taiwan.
