THE two series of call warrants on Wynn Macau Ltd, which were launched by CIMB Bank Bhd, are expected to start trading on Bursa Malaysia at 10am on Oct 9, 2009.

The listing of the call warrants would coincide with the expected listing of its underlying share on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd, CIMB Group head of equity derivatives, Lim Jong Hau, said in a statement today.

"The listing of the call warrants provides investors in Malaysia the opportunity to obtain exposure to Wynn Macau shares on its debut," Lim said.

He said the two call warrants would have different expiry dates and exercise prices to provide investors a choice between two investment horizons.

Based on the offer price of HK$10.08 per share, the market capitalisation of Wynn Macau will be HK$50.4 billion (RM22.7 billion), making it the second largest initial public offering in Hong Kong this year.

Wynn Macau owns and operates a luxury integrated resort and casino and is among the biggest gaming operators in Macau, catering to high-end clientele.
