DJ Bursa Malaysia: Trade Halt Due To Multiple Hardware Failure

KUALA LUMPUR (Dow Jones)--Bursa Malaysia Bhd. (1818.KU) said Thursday in a statement that multiple hardware failures in the core trading system will mean trading on the Malaysian stock exchange will be suspended for at least the morning trading session, from 0100 GMT to 0430 GMT.
The derivatives market will continue to trade as normal. However, there will not be any underlying KLCI feed for the KLSE Futures Index and the KL Options Index.
Bursa Malaysia is investigating the problem and will notify the market of any updates.
It added that all market participants have been duly notified and will be updated periodically of the progress.
