1.主催：马来西亚象棋总会
Suggested by :Malaysia Chinese Chess Association

2.主办当局 : 多媒体大学棋艺学会
Organizer : Chess Club of Multimedia University (Malacca Campus)

3.宗旨:
Objectives:
a)宣传多媒体大学。
    To promote Multimedia University among undergraduates.
b)发扬中华文化之精髓.
  To exchange idea on Chinese culture with one another.
c)提高大专生对中国象棋的认识。
To enhance better understanding of Chinese Chess and thus indirectly promote Chinese Chess among undergraduates.
d)启发棋手的智能、提高棋艺与增强棋力。
To explore and enhance students’ existing skills in playing Chinese chess
e)促进各大专生之间的感情。
To foster friendship among the undergraduates from universities all over Malaysia.

4.日期:
团体赛 –2007年11月8日 – 2007年11月9日 （须于早上8时至10时报到）
Date: Team – 8th November – 9th November 2007 (must be registered at registration counter between 8am to 10am)

个人赛 – 2007年11月10日– 2007年11月11日（须于早上8时至10时报到）
Single – 10th November – 11th November 2007(must be registered at registration counter between 8am to 10am)

5.地点: 多媒体大学（马六甲）会考礼堂,

6.参赛资格:
Contesting events:

团体赛
Team Event
–每支队伍3个人，无需候补，男女不拘。
Every team comprises of 3 participants, no reserve/substitutes required.
–只公开给在籍的大专生或大马高级教育文凭生或同等级皆可参与。

Only open for Undergraduate’s Student and STPM students or other equivalents level.
–参赛者必须同校，除非有特殊情况。
Participants in team need to study in the same University, except under special circumstances.
–凡有欺骗者，主办当局有权罢免其资格。
The organizer has the right to cancel the qualifications of those who cheat or try to cheat.
–先到先得，最多32队。
First come first serve basis is applied, maximum of 32 teams allowed.


个人赛Single Event
–分别为男个人赛和女个人赛。
Female and Male categories.
–公开给在籍大专生、大专毕业生或STPM生或同等级皆可参与，年龄不拘。

Open for Undergraduate/ Graduate’s Students or STPM students or other equivalents level.

7. 报名费：      
团体赛 － 每组RM50.00
个人赛 － 每人 RM10.00

Registration fee：team － RM50.00 per team
single－ RM10.00 per player

8. 住宿与膳食: 由主办当局提供。如参赛者需要住宿，最迟需在报名截至前通知本会，否则本会将不负责任何有关问题。
Accommodation and meals: Will be provided by organizer. If accommodation is needed, participant shall inform organizer before the closing date of the registration. Those who fail to do so shall not be entertained.

9.报名截至：10月28日（星期日）
Closing date for registration ：28th October 2007（Sunday）

10.赛程:
Competition schedule:

• 团体赛Team:         
星期四(08/11);第一轮至第三轮赛事.
Thursday (08/11); first to third round
星期五(09/11);第四轮至第七轮赛事.
Friday (09/11); forth to seventh round

• 个人赛Single:   
星期六(10/11);第一轮至第五轮赛事.
Saturday (10/11); first to fifth round
星期日(11/11);第六轮至第八轮赛事.
Sunday (11/11); sixth to eighth round

11. 奖项Prizes:   
团体赛Team
        
冠军(1ST)：        RM1000  + trophy  + 3 medals
亚军(2nd)：        RM750   + trophy  + 3 medals
季军(3rd)：        RM500   + trophy  + 3 medals
殿军(4th)：        RM250   + trophy
5th      ：        RM100   + trophy
6th      ：        RM50    + trophy
7th -10th：        trophy

个人赛 (男子组)
Single (male category)
1st                ：        RM1000  + trophy
2nd                ：        RM600   + trophy
3rd                ：        RM300   + trophy
4th                ：        RM100   + trophy
5th - 8th          ：        RM50    + trophy
9th -12th          ：        trophy

个人赛 (女子组)
Single (female category)
1st                ：        RM300  + trophy
2nd                ：        RM150  + trophy
3rd                ：        RM50   + trophy

12.        规则：
Rules and Regulation:

a) 比赛棋规　：采用最新亚象联棋规。
Chess competition rules: Adopt the latest Asian Association chess rules.

b)团体赛采用4+3积分淘汰赛制。
Team will adopt (4+3) inning system.

c)个人赛采用积分淘汰赛制，如参赛者太多, 则先分组积分选出优胜者, 再以淘汰方式选出冠亚军.负者进入积分赛以选出第三至第十二名之排名。
Single adopts inning system, if too many participants, they will be divided in groups and 8 seeds will be chosen to enter quarterfinals (cross) competition ( knock-out stage ); the remaining players will be combined into a big group and carry on the competition among themselves to get the winner from third to number twelve.

d)迟到及弃权：比赛开始，如有一方迟到，则从轮他走棋时开动他的棋钟,超过 15 分钟时限,則判负及当弃权。弃权 1 轮有理由请假，可以继续比赛，如弃权两轮则不准续赛。
Late comer or waive: when the game begin, if either 1 of the player is late, the other player will start off the game first then started his/her clock, exceed the time limit of 15 minutes, the late comer will be considered lost and waived. Participants who are absent for one round with reasonable reason can continue the match. If the participant is absent for two round, they forbidden to continue.

e) 穿着整齐（包鞋长裤），不得穿拖鞋、短裤及没袖背心，违例者不得参赛。
Attire is smart casual (long pants and shoes), participants who wear short pants, non-sleeve singlet or slipper cannot join the particular match as a punishment.

f) 比赛时，棋手如对棋规或棋例发出疑问，应以裁判之判决为准。
During the game, if player has any doubts regarding game rules or regulation, the arbiter will have the final decision.

g) 通则如有未尽善处，主办当局有权增删之，大会决定乃最后决定。
If there is any shortcoming regarding this rules and regulations, the organizer has the right to add or delete it, depending on the organizer’s final decision.


13. 报名以付费为准，先到先得。付款方式如下：
Registration will be recorded once payment is made. First come first serve basis is applied here. Payment can be made through:-

a) 网上支付方式(Internet Banking)或银行（只限CIMB）转帐，收据请转交于举办当局出。为了确保安全，请联络白紫琦以获得户口号码名字及身份证号码。
Internet Banking or transfer payment through bank (CIMB only). Receipt should be mailed to organizer. For safety purpose, please contact Pah Zi Qi to get the account number and name.

b)汇票（Wang pos）请寄到一下地址：
Money order can be sent to the address stated below:-

c)现款付账。
Cash payment.

d) 当场付费为最后的方法。
Pay on the spot on the day of tournament.

14.以上条文, 主办当局有权增删之。
Organizer has the right to edit all statements mentioned above.

所谓的特殊情况就是特别的情形。。。如果我说了出来就是不特殊了。。。
不特殊的情况就代表某些棋手因为想胜，而选择用两到三间的学校来代表参赛。。。
也或许是水准的关系。。。这些都是不特殊的情况。。。这样的话，就没有什么意义了。。。

考试时间是在29 Okt - 23                           Nov 2007，所以是在考试当中...

时间那么长...希望在周末的时候不会有考试,这样还有可能会有些棋手能抽空出席参赛.

当然,学生还是得以学业为重.只有尽人事了.

我想我是第三个进来报到不能出席的国立大学学生吧？

我想，如果我出席，也只能出席个人赛，但是比赛的这个星期我在考主修课，非比寻常，我不想迟一年才毕业，所以到最后只能牺牲……下棋。

很难过啊！刚才看到奖金蛮高的……
