The Tokyo Game Show (東京ゲームショウ, Tōkyō Gēmu Shō?), commonly known as TGS, is a video gameexpo / convention held annually in the Makuhari Messe, in Chiba, Japan. It is presented by the Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association (CESA) and the Nikkei Business Publications, Inc. It is used by many international video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware, though the main focus is on the Japanese market rather than overseas. Like the Leipzig Games Convention, the Tokyo Game Show allows the general public to attend during the final two days.
All Capcom TGS presser news – DMC confirmed, Dead Rising 2: Case West....
Capcom’s TGS press conference today saw some big announcements, such as Ninja Theories DMC and a Dead Rising 2 epilogue in the 360-exclusive Case: West. Hit the link for all the new, screens and videos.
Dev head Keiji Inafune opened preceedings by addressing remarks he’s previously made about the Japanese games industry being dead.
The main theme of Capcom’s press conference in Tokyo today, he said, is that “the Japanese industry is not dead as long as Capcom is still around.”
Case: West, Blue Castle acquired
More than 500,000 units of Dead Rising 2: Case Zero have now been sold, Inafune said. The prequel sold more than 300,000 units in its first week on sale at the beginning of September.
The conference’s first major piece of new was that Dead Rising 2 will also get an epilogue in Dead Rising 2: Case West, obviously involving Frank West from the first game.
Both West and Dead Rising 2’s Chuck will appear in the game, which, as with Case Zero, will be a 360 exclusive.
Inafune then said that Capcom has purchased Canadian Dead Rising 2 developer, Blue Castle. The studio’s to be renamed Capcom Games Studio Vancouver.

Tecmo Koei has announced Ninja Gaiden 3, revealing one image which teases what we can expect from the sequel.
Attending a behind-closed door reveal earlier today, the image of Ryo Hayabusa holds secrets of the game to come. Ryu is pulling off his mask to represent a more human side to the series' protagonist and the idea that players will discover more about him.
Ryu also has blood on his face, representing a more violent and bloody experience to Ninja Gaiden 2.
You can also see a reflection of a person in Ryu's eye, perhaps suggesting an inner darkness which he is trying to contain - the likelihood is this darkness will manifest itself with new abilities.
The flames represent Ryu's descent into a hellish realm and the hell he plans to unleash on his foes.
We've also noticed something peculiar looking under the right eye that looks too specific to be just a blood smear.
The game's currently without a firm release date or platforms.
