Singaporeans:
1. passport don't need visa in a lot of countries
2. economic restructuring shares
3. maybe less income tax
4. children's education (university level - foreigners pay double)
5. medical subsidy - not sure got difference between citizen and PRs or not
6..housing - buy new HDB

政府好像八月会公布新的 benefits 。

还有就是告诉你经济不好, 减公积金.
然后说经济好转, 加一点公积金, 加车费, 加这个, 加那个...
再然后说经济不好, 减更多公积金

3. tax is the same for S'prean and PR.
5. both S'porean and PR can get sub and used medisave to pay.
6. as long as one applicant is S'porean, u can apply NEW flat.  If both PRs, can only buy RESALE flat.

Singaporeans:

Singapore passport don't need visa to USA, China and Taiwan, all the important countries.

明白了。真的很 blurred 一下。

总结：看来 PR 和新加坡公民没有多大的分别，至少现在是这样，所以大多数的人会选择做 PR 。
拿新加坡公民的大马人，应该有其它的原因。

偶也是 PR，但是从来没有要转变成新加坡人的想法，虽然对马来西亚政府的一些政策极度不满！
