19-02-2008: Hai-O expects RM200m sales

KUALA LUMPUR: Hai-O Enterprise Bhd’s unit Hai-O Marketing Sdn Bhd expects to achieve not less than RM200 million sales for its fiscal year ended April 30, 2008 (FY08) boosted by the expansion of its multi-level marketing network, said its group managing director Tan Kai Hee.

“We also expect the number of our crown diamond managers (millionaire entrepreneurs) to increase by another 100 this year,” he said at the Hai-O Marketing’s entrepreneurs’ dinner here yesterday.

Hai-O Marketing, which achieved more than RM100 million sales in FY07, currently had 117 bumiputera millionaire entrepreneurs and expected the number to double this year, said Tan. In order to become a crown diamond manager, each entrepreneur must generate business amounting to RM2 million per annum and they also need to train at least one other entrepreneur, he added.

Hai-O to explore Muslim mart in China

HAI-O Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of the Hai-O Group, has formed a business cooperation with Shaanxi Leap Fortune of China to explore business opportunities in the Chinese Muslim market in China.

Group managing director Tan Kai Hee said the support and assistance include match-making Malaysian businessmen with their counterparts in China.

“To help Chinese Muslim enterprises to go global, and to connect with Muslim enterprises around the world, Hai-O has also agreed to assist Shaanxi Leap Fortune organise participation in the 5th Asean International Islamic Trade Fair in Kuala Lumpur in May,” Tan said after the signing of the letter of intent with Shaanxi Leap Fortune.

He said both parties have identified collaborative projects for organising trade fairs in China and Malaysia.

Tan noted that Hai-O, which is involved in the trading of Chinese health & consumer products, is looking at more growth and business opportunities through its collaboration with Shaanxi Leap Fortune.

“We recorded a strong sales volume of RM200 million from Chinese products for the financial year ending April 2008 and, going forward, we anticipate better sales volume,” he said.

Hai-O, Tan said, has a strong presence in China through its offices in four cities in China - Xian, Kunming, Guangzhou and Yi Wu. — Bernama

（吉隆坡19日讯）海鸥集团董事经理陈凯希说，海鸥直销有限公司成长率快速，有望在近几年内跻身国内首三大直销公司。

他说，海鸥直销采用特殊策略，发挥很好效用，以踏实的销售手法累积成绩。

他表示，该公司的另一个特色是7万名传销人中，有90％为马来同胞，海鸥可说成功为友族制造传销空间。

陈凯希是昨晚出席海鸥集团属下海鸥直销有限公司“百万企业家联欢之夜”致词时说，海鸥正筹划进军印尼，准备开拓新的市场。

他表示，海鸥传销营业额已突破1亿令吉目标，相信在未来的财政年报告，会取得更亮丽的成绩。

奥斯曼：扩大业务  海鸥取之社会用之社会

海鸥集团董事主席丹斯里奥斯曼说，海鸥集团继续秉持“取之社会，用之社会”精神，扩大业务和社会之间的互动。

他乐于看到海鸥直销至少已累积了117名百万企业家成果，相信会有更多传销伙伴，跻身百万行列。

海鸥传销之夜也宣布献捐10万令吉予4间福利组织，包括安邦孤儿院4万累积、巴生孤儿院3万5千令吉、万挠儿童关爱之家1万5千令吉及吉隆坡孤儿元1万令吉。

斥资4500万购巴生地段 海鸥总投资回酬料6％ 2008/03/07 10:55:20

（吉隆坡6日讯）海鸥（HaiO，7668，主板贸服股）斥资4千500万令吉收购Bata公司在巴生的地段，使前者有望从所投下的总投资中取得6％的回酬。

海鸥集团财务总监丘观庆表示：“我们收购Bata公司的土地后，将会把其中的40％的地段，继续租赁给Bata公司。而余下的60％则将会考虑建设海鸥的新仓库和厂房。”

“而透过租赁产业予Bata，海鸥每年将能取得250万令吉的收入，也代表海鸥有望从总投资中取得6％的回酬。”

他今日在海鸥股东特别大会后的记者会，这样表示。

海鸥今日召开股东特别大会，征求股东同意收购Bata有限公司在巴生占地28英亩的地段，作为该集团的扩展计划。

丘观庆也指出，海鸥将透过内部融资2千500万令吉，以及向中国银行贷款2千万令吉，来进行这项收购计划。

至于股息派发政策，他说：“在过去4年来，海鸥都将其净利的50％作为股息。而我们将会继续维持这样的派息政策。”

他也指出，海鸥去年财政年已派发18％的股息予股东。而海鸥在今年首半年，已宣布将会派发8％的中期股息予股东。至于下半年则必须视乎海鸥在今年下半年的表现而定。

下半年派更高息

“但是，我们预期将会在今年下半年派发更高的股息。”

在去年，海鸥分别获得2千100万令吉的净利，以及1亿4千万令吉的营业额。而在今年首半年，海鸥已取得1千600万令吉的净利，和1亿9千万令吉的营业额。

“我们能够取得亮丽的业绩，主要是因为海鸥的多层次直销（MLM）的表现标青所致。”此外，丘观庆也相信，海鸥的净利和营业额有望在2008财政年取得双位数增长。

业绩有望双位增

海鸥旗下超过60％的营业额贡献是来自其多层次直销业务，而余下的则来自零售和批发业务。

除此之外，海鸥集团董事经理陈凯希也透露：“海鸥将会在不久将来，在大马设立一家子公司，专门处理投资方案，以协助中国企业家来马进行投资。”

“其实，中国人非常乐意来马进行投资，如联营或上市等。而这家子公司将协助中国商人探讨大马的商机。”

是2.97啦，还死不去。

我找到海鸥时是rm2.50这个股我计算过它的股价值是rm5.00.
但因为受到美国股市大跌影响的原因大马股市也插水似的大跌。托累了这个股，所以我在rm3.00的是后买了。我把资金注入了其它比较活跃的股票。这股要再起并不是短期内的事，除非。。。
