（吉隆坡22日讯）PETRON大马（PETRONM,3042,主板能源组）受油价下滑和未实现商品亏损影响，截至2019年6月30日止第二季净利下跌39.18%至5621万5000令吉。

上半年净利急挫85.12%至1亿1373万6000令吉。

第二季营业额减少3.31%至30亿2267万令吉，以及上半年营收微跌1.41%至57亿7011万3000令吉。

PETRON大马发文告表示，第二季销量达到920万桶，高于去年同期，但于由于油价走低，令营收下滑3%。

油价在2018年最后两个月重挫，过后回升，但在第二季依然波动，布兰特平均油价下跌7%至每桶69美元。最终产品和原油的价差收窄，导致总盈利下跌15%。

净收入则下跌39%，主要由于低总收入降低和未实现商品亏损。

展望未来， 该公司表示第二季油价继续波动，在中美贸易战重新升级和地缘政治持续紧张下，油价将更不明朗。

尽管面对挑战，该公司仍展开各项策略计划以扩大零售网络，提升工厂和设施，以及加强供应链的效率以扶持成长中的销售量，以及继续提供卓越服务和创新产品给顾客。

Description	Announcement Pursuant to Paragraphs 9.03 and 9.09 of the Main Market Listing Requirements - Response to Media Reports
Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd (“PMRMB”) refers to media reports in online business news portals such as Reuters, Financial Post, CNBC and Marketscreener on Tuesday October 22, 2019 that quotes sources who have mentioned that some crude oil vessels are unable to discharge crude oil at Port Dickson for use by two refineries, one of which is a refinery “owned by the Philippines’ largest refiner, Petron Corp”. PMRMB can confirm that one of the said refineries is indeed, that owned by PMRMB at Port Dickson. PMRMB wishes to confirm that its refinery at Port Dickson is at the moment unable to receive crude oil for purposes of producing finished products (eg. gasoline, diesel, LPG and aviation fuel) due to a technical problem with the Single Buoy Mooring (“SBM”) facility. PMRMB wishes to clarify that its finished products, supplied to the Malaysian market and customers, are made up of imported finished products and that produced by its refinery in Port Dickson. In this regard, PMRMB has taken necessary measures to import more finished products to make up for its marketing needs. The necessary repairs to the SBM is in the meantime is being managed by the operator of the said facility. The operator has informed PMRMB that the SBM is anticipated to return to normal operations by early November 2019.   In this regard, PMRMB wishes to inform that the temporary inability to process crude oil at the refinery, will not impact the supply of finished products to the market and that the above matter will not have any significant financial impact to the Company. Petron Malaysia Refining & Marketing Bhd (PMRMB) hereby announces that its Refinery at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan, will be undergoing a maintenance shutdown for approximately 8 weeks to facilitate some repairs to its furnaces. PMRMB also confirms that despite the shutdown of the Refinery, the supply of petroleum products to its network of Petron branded petrol stations, its LPG customers and commercial accounts will remain business as usual without any disruption or shortage of petroleum products to the market. Whilst the financial impact cannot be estimated at the present moment, we can confirm that the cost of the repair at the Refinery is not considered material. PMRMB will make a further announcement when the Refinery is operational after the repairs. This announcement is dated October 9, 2024.
