RM80 million mall planned for Kuching
Boulevard Kuching slated for completion by October 2007

MIRI: The Boulevard Group of Companies will build a new landmark in Kuching City — the Boulevard Shopping Complex Kuching.
The new shopping complex, scheduled for completion by October 2007, will be one of the largest shopping malls in the State.
It is located along Jalan Datuk Tawi Sli in the 4th Mile area.
Covering an area of 400,000 square feet, Boulevard Shopping Complex Kuching will be five-storey high and accommodate 88 stores including two storeys of basement car parking area.
According to its CEO Don Yew Hoon at a press conference yesterday, the family concept shopping complex will have an open air Boulevard Avenue, indoor children playground, amusement arcade, food court and stores specialising in a wide array of designer items, fashion, music, electrical, and other items.
He was optimistic that the population of Kuching City at 550,000 will provide the market for this shopping complex.
“Kuching is a growing city and we are confident that this new shopping complex will be a main attraction for city dwellers,” he added.
Moreover, it will be convenient for residents to shop there due to its proximity to housing estates like Everbright Park, Hua Joo Park, Taman Berjaya, Taman Seng Goon and Hui Sing Garden.
Once completed, Boulevard Hypermarket and Departmental Store will be the anchor tenant occupying over 180,000 square feet of the building.
Boulevard Group of Companies also plans to build a hotel near the shopping complex to be named Imperial Hotel.
The whole shopping complex project is envisaged to cost approximately RM80 million and scheduled to be completed by end of 2007.

民都鲁有华利呀，还有建造中的城市花园广场，也是预料在2007年完成。
看了今天的报刊，可知富丽华集团已计划在未来陆续登陆其它城区，即建造更多的购物商场及酒店，下一目标最大可能是诗巫或民都鲁，等待它的好消息吧。 |
